Charming vintage ceramic figurine pair made in Japan, dating to the mid-20th century. This sweet seated couple features expressive hand-painted faces, vibrant red and black glaze, and classic mid-century export styling.

Both figurines retain their original Japan labels on the base and display lovely vintage character without damage. A great decorative accent for a shelf, curio, or vintage-inspired space.

▫️Condition: Very good vintage condition. The male figurine shows an area of paint cracking and loss on the blue shoe, consistent with a manufacturing paint adhesion issue that has become visible over time. The ceramic underneath is intact. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Light age-appropriate wear consistent with vintage pieces. (See photos for more detail)
